• Dreamscape Learn: Immerse yourself in an avatar-driven virtual reality experience (no limit per date)

• Laser cutting workshop: Create unique designs with laser technology (limit of 15 per date)

• 3D printing: Discover the future of manufacturing (not hands on, but a verbal demonstration)

• Wood/metal fabrication project: Get hands-on with building and crafting (limit of 12 per date)

We invite you to join the launch of MEDIAted Membranes, a community-based multiphase project that explores the intersection of public art, technology and environmental data practices. Funded by Leonardo/ISAST with Arizona State University, this interdisciplinary initiative aims to create innovative, adaptive, and environmentally aware public interfaces that push the boundaries of artistic expression and urban sustainable technology.

The animation program at the School of Art (SOA), part of the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts (HIDA), is proud to announce the Spring 2024 Animation Showcase.

Join the ASU MIX Center for our Spring 2024 MIXibition! This will be a night to engage the ASU and Mesa communities with work from graduate students and faculty.

Experience a night filled with FREE immersive exhibits and artwork, open for all to enjoy. The exhibit will be held inside the ASU Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center in Downtown Mesa, AZ running from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Featured "MIXibitions" will be:

"You give me gum-gum!" - The Easter Island Head

Step into the mystical realm of history and wonder as the MIX Center invites you to another installment of Moonlight Movie Nights with Night at the Museum, presented by the ASU MIX Center Community Advisory Board in partnership with the Arizona Museum of Natural History Foundation.

"Enter the Plastoscene" (Tamiko Thiel and /p, 2021) is a multi-channel live streaming augmented reality large screen immersive project addressing ocean plastic pollution in the Anthropocene.

Join us at the ASU Media and Immersive eXperience (MIX) Center in Downtown, Mesa on the first floor for this open exhibition.
