Barrett Honors College Lantana Hall residents are invited to a relaxing night of DIY self care goods.

Learn about the work of Kyle Benowitz, PhD, which is focused within the field of evolutionary genetics with a primary interest in using genomics to study the evolution of complex social traits in insects.

Examples of his work include studying how environmental variables drive group selection at the molecular level in a fungus beetle and how differences in the gene expressions underpin variations in parental care for the young in different insects.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. If detected early, nearly all breast cancer can be treated successfully. Assured Imaging will be onsite at the Polytechnic campus on Thursday, April 18 from 1 p.m.–4 p.m. offering 3D mammogram screenings for breast cancer.

The ASU Community is invited to learn more about urban gardening at the ASU Garden Commons located at the Polytechnic Campus. Garden Commons maintains a community garden with 16 raised beds and and orchard with over 20 fruit trees.

During the volunteer event participants will help with miscellaneous garden tasks including planting, harvesting, weeding, compost and seed starting.

Arizona State University benefits-eligible employees can get a 30-minute health screening. Several tests, including readings on cholesterol, blood pressure and triglycerides, are available free of charge.

Other tests are available for as low as a $20 copay. Cash, check, MasterCard or Visa are accepted. Bring your ASU ID and health insurance cards.

Spring is here! Come and learn more about starting a Spring garden in the Phoenix area. We will discuss what vegetables, flowers, and herbs grow best in the spring and tips for getting your garden started. We will share some of our excess seeds to get you started with growing your own garden. 

Program will include a tour of Garden Commons and what we have growing.
