Join us for an engaging Faculty Development workshop where we delve into the ICAP theory, developed by Regents Professor Michelene (Micki) at Arizona State University. ICAP provides operational principles to promote student engagement in active learning classrooms. With a solid grasp of ICAP, you will know how to modify your instruction to improve and design your own active learning activities that foster students’ cognitive engagement and enhance learning.

Join ASU students, staff and faculty for an afternoon of gratitude, reflection and connection. Explore creative ways to express appreciation!

This workshop provides social workers and practitioners with an Indigenous perspective on historical events and their ongoing effects on American Indian communities. Drawing from Native American scholarship, the session emphasizes using historical context to dismantle barriers and foster holistic healing. Participants will explore culturally safe practices to support indigenous identity as a foundation for success. 

This event is CEU approved for in-person/online. Zoom link will be provided day before event for those who RSVP.
