Join us for performances by the ASU Concerto Competition finalists in the areas of brass, keyboard, strings, voice and woodwinds.
Each year, the school holds the competition for its top performing music students, giving them the opportunity to perform to entire concertos and for the school to program musical selections around those concertos. The winners are then invited to present concertos with one of the large music ensembles in the upcoming concert season.
The Literature Program in the Department of English announces a showcase of undergraduate work. Students in ASU literature courses and independent studies in 2025 present their projects across a variety of forms and genres including: argument-driven papers; original research and theses in progress; creative projects; posters; videos; and other non-traditional / experimental formats.
All are welcome.
This free event features presentations by graduate students from across ASU campuses related to linguistics, applied linguistics and TESOL as well as a plenary speech by Robert Godwin-Jones of Virginia Commonwealth University. Godwin-Jones's recent scholarship focuses on technology in language learning, including computer-assisted language learning, digital literacies, and emerging tools such as generative AI.
Attendance is free; please register to attend.
