Join us for a fun-filled evening on the ice at Mullet Arena! Students will have the opportunity to go ice skating at the Community Iceplex, completely free of charge. Entry fees, skate rentals, and skate guards will all be waived, so just bring yourself and enjoy the experience! Whether you are a seasoned skater or trying it for the first time, this is a great chance to explore the Mullet Arena connect with friends.

As the semester comes to a close, The Design School is excited to invite you to our Public Exhibitions, Reviews and Community Celebration. 

Each spring, Design School students dedicate themselves to final projects that reflect their passions, skills and creative vision. At semester’s end, students present their work to peers, faculty, and special guests, engaging in meaningful critique and conversation.

Gene drive is a new and very powerful biotechnology that scientists hope will help solve some of the biggest biodiversity and conservation challenges facing society. Gene drive has the potential to change entire wild species. This power is what makes it so attractive and so controversial. In 2019, researchers at the University of Edinburgh proposed using gene drive technology to remove invasive grey squirrels from the UK. Grey squirrels are popular wild mammals in the UK, but they are labelled an invasive species.

Arizona State University presents its 14th Día De Los Niños, Día De Los Libros, a celebration of youth, languages, literacies and cultures.

Día De Los Niños, Día De Los Libros 2025 is in-person and online! This international event takes place on ASU's Tempe campus on Thursday, Apr. 24 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Arizona time (5-8 p.m. Greenwich Mean Time). It will also be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing. The event is for kids in 6-12th grades; attendees must be sponsored by their schools (teachers must register on behalf of their students).

Join us for an event  organized by Julia Himberg and Sa Whitley, co-directors of the Queer X Humanities initiative at the ASU Humanities Institute.This roundtable features five prominent ASU scholars with an eclectic array of research projects and scholarship situated in Queer Studies and/or Transgender Studies. This event is part of a series that fosters connections and dialogue in this significant research area across ASU schools, departments, and campuses in the Salt River Valley. 

Ruminations is a feminist collective that approaches theory as an embodied, relational, and everyday practice. Drawing on thinkers like Michel de Montaigne and bell hooks, the group meets monthly in domestic spaces to read, eat, and think together. This roundtable discussion explores how knowledge can emerge not in isolation, but through conversation, care, repetition, and shared meals.
